Detailed Problem Description


INV006 Report Failing - Error in File ~tmp3a848577c758bf0.rpt: Database Connector Error: 'DAO Error Code: 0xc6f Source: DAO.Database Description: Not enough space on temporary disk.'

Solution Analysis and Recommendations


1. Need to check if the report failed due to database configuration issue.
2. Need to analyze failed instances of report in BI Launchpad.
3. Need to analyze on server side updates as well as report side changes.
4. Need to compare the instances before and after failed instance in BI Launchpad.
5. Need to find that this report is being executed with 'out of memory' situation.

Resolution


1. Checked if the report failed due to database configuration issue.
2. Analyzed failed instances of report in BI Launchpad.
3. Analyzed server side updates as well as report side changes.
4. Compared the instances before and after failed instance in BI Launchpad.
5. Found that this report is being executed with 'out of memory' situation.
6. Suggested to clean up any *.tmp files to generate more disk space.
7. Forwarded the SAP Notes 1696654 and 1567941 related to this issue.
